This is a little about who we are, where we are, what we
do, why we do it and to let you know we are here for you to get the best
REAL Cajun Products from our Louisiana Suppliers here in South Central
and South Eastern Louisiana.
Who we are
We are a small business that wants to introduce people to
real Old Fashion Authentic Cajun Food. Not the TOURIST Foods that are
typically Creole and brought to Louisiana as the Well To Do Folks Daily
Diet. We would like to let you see, taste and have access to the REAL
Acadian Cajun Foods. It is our goal to have really good, high quality
product available for you in our store and online for your shopping and
eating pleasure.
Where we are located In New Orleans
You cannot miss us, we are located in the Heart
of the Historic New Orleans French Market.
Simply, walk in the market entrance arch and you
will see stores on your right. Keep walking until you see a sitting area
with tables and chairs. Sit down and I will probably be doing a Cajun
Cooking Demonstration very shortly. Make sure you came say hi to me.

We have collected a complete line of Great Authentic
Cajun Products and made them available to you. Everything we have is
real Cajun Made right here in the heart of Louisiana. The products
really come from places like Cade, New Iberia, Jeanerette, Lafayette,
Maurice, Thibodaux, and others -- Louisiana
While I have not eaten every single product, I personally
have used many of them in my recipes, eaten most of them and know that
you are getting the best you can get from our little part of the world.
I am sure you will enjoy Cajun Food as you never have
before.

Why WE Do It
Cajun Food is long considered to be burnt and peppered.
This is a myth and a way for people to use the Cajun name to promote
their version of Cajun Food. While I do like Blackened Hot Dogs, in
reality, Cajun Food is pretty simple, well flavored, very appetizing,
smells great sitting on the table and very satisfying when you sit down
to relax after eating. While some think Creole is Cajun, that is also a
myth. Creole is a distinct form of cooking and eating that was brought
over with the aristocrats, not the common people, slaves and the others
that followed down the Mississippi River. What you are getting is more
of an South Central Louisiana Acadian Cajun Method of Cooking.
That is why we are introducing everyone to Real Authentic
Cajun Food Products.
